SOLD OUT Special Event: A Wine Dinner with Ketcham Estates

We’re so honored that our first special dinner of the year—actually, our first special dinner since pre-pandemic days!—is with a longtime friend of the Roadhouse. Ketcham Estate Proprietress Allie Ketcham grew up in Ann Arbor (her sister, Jill, used to be a server at the Roadhouse!), so we’re especially excited to welcome Allie back as our special guest for this dinner.

Chef Bob and Allie have collaborated to create a satisfying and summery four-course dinner with Ketcham Estate wine pairings. It’s an event that’s just right for wine aficionados and newbies alike.

About Ketcham Wines

Ketcham Estate is a woman-owned and managed boutique winery and estate vineyard in Healdsburg, California, the heart of the Russian River Valley. Originally specializing in top-notch estate-grown Pinot Noir, Ketcham Estate is also now making award-winning Chardonnay, Viognier, and estate-grown Pinot Noir Rosé wines.

Their thirteen-acre vineyard is sustainably farmed and has the terroir that Pinot Noir loves; warm, sunny days and the cooler nights brought in by the breeze from the Pacific Ocean. Terroir is French for “a sense of place,” but has come to mean the combination of land, weather, and other things that give the grapes, and thus, the wine, a distinct flavor and palate. Don’t let the French lesson lead you to assume that they’re snobby about wine though, in fact, the opposite is true. Allie says, “Wine should not be some grand complication and neither is our philosophy.

Ketcham is focused on making seductive wines with rich fruits that have structure and balance and are very food-friendly. Their small annual releases and premium location allow them to concentrate on creating exceptional wines and experiences for their friends and family—like all of us at this special meal! Each course will be paired with a Ketcham Estate wine and bottles will be available for purchase, as well.
