Start your morning with a spicy kick at the Roadhouse! We top a brioche bun from the Bakehouse with award-winning artisan ‘Nduja Calabrian sausage from Tempesta Market in Chicago, and an over-easy egg. Yum!
Sea Island Red Peas & Rice
One of our favorite geographical areas to source food from is the Sea Islands, off the coast of Georgia. Over the years, the Roadhouse has cooked recipes and used ingredients from the Gullah people of the Sea Islands, an African American ethnic group known for their incredible fishing skills and delicious foods (like our swet potato fries!!). We are honored to feature this special, made with Sea Island red peas and Carolina Gold rice. Topped with a fennel, pickled green tomato, ginger, and mustard slaw, the flavors in this dish are bright and scrumptious!
