At Zingerman’s, we are not only known for really good food, but also for connecting you with really good people and stories! Starting with our co-founder Ari Weinzweig and all the way through our Community of Businesses, we love to assist in educating the community not only about food and the people behind it, but about things that can enrich our lives daily. The Roadhouse would love to invite you to our beautiful dining rooms for our one-of-a-kind events, where you can enjoy food you’ve never tried before, or perhaps meet an author or leading expert who can engage you with new ideas. Roadhouse Special Dinner Events
Full multi-course dinners including a special guest presentation | $95+
The Roadhouse has offered hundreds of special dinners since we opened in 2003, and each one has been an exceptional experience. These events are designed to connect you with a leading food expert, perhaps a chef or a cookbook author, where you can hear their stories and meet them in person, while enjoying several sensational courses of their dishes. Some of these dinners are opportunities to raise funds for our community partners as well, and all of them will leave you feeling satiated with cultural significance.
Conversations With Ari Author Events

Our co-founder, Ari Weinzweig, is an educational leader, an author, and just a really great person to talk to. Because of that, he meets a TON of thought-provoking experts in our community who are also really great writers, and you can often find him at the Roadhouse reading their books. So we thought, why not invite these folks to our house so all of you can learn from these amazing people, too? The Conversations With Ari Book Events are designed for attendees to enjoy an educational conversation between Ari and one of his favorite authors—while enjoying delicious Roadhouse snacks of course!

Education is deeply embedded in the Zingerman’s culture, across all businesses. We learn fulfilling things every day! Reading books and connecting with authors are also a big part of our culture at the Roadhouse. The Roadies are excited to welcome you to our table to meet the authors we are reading who enrich our lives daily—whether they are teaching us about food, a craft, a new philosophy in life, or something about our community. Stop by the Roadhouse to check out our bookshelf for our recommended reads, but also take a look at our events calendar for opportunities to meet these authors in person, hear them impart their wisdom, and fill up on Roadhouse snacks!
