Heirloom Tomatoes

We love tomato season at the Roadhouse! Right now we have juicy heirloom tomatoes coming in from We the People Opportunity Farm in Ypsilanti. All these babies need are a bit of artisanal olive oil, fleur de sel sea salt, and Tellicherry black pepper. Other than that, the rich flavor of these tomatoes stand alone as an excellent appetizer.

Sea Scallops

Our superior sea scallops are a fan favorite, and for good reason! We get them from Foley Fish in Boston, who are deeply committed to quality. Their scallops are moister, more delicate, more delicious, more “of the sea”, you might say, than any other scallops around.

Pecan Pie

Have you tried the Zingerman’s Bakehouse pecan pie yet? They surround a pile of toasted pecans with a rich brown sugar custard made from unrefined Mauritian brown sugar, butter, and real vanilla. Indulge in this classic seasonal treat at the Roadhouse! Take our advice, and ask for it to be warmed and served with a scoop of Zingerman’s Creamery vanilla gelato.
